Edited and/or arranged by David Bellugi
scoring: A (Violin, Bc)

Adapted and transposed for a treble recorder by David Bellugi from the original score for flute, violin and continuo.

The lower note of the recorder range (E) must be intended for recorders capable to reach such a low note, like an Eagle Recorder. A common treble recorder can easily skip all the low Es.

David and I were working to that arrangement together a few months ago, but eventually he could not finish it. Now I decided to publish it as is, despite the fact that he always kept wanting to change small things in his edition making the conclusion of his work a very distant aim.

Furthermore, he always was against my decision to publish Finale and Midi files of my (and his) editions on the site: so, I decided not to publish those files here. Please, do not ask for them.

This batch of sonatas by Leo are quite original, but with a strange range. In particular, this one seems to be shifted towards high notes as if it were to be played by another size of recorder, but eventually only a treble recorder will suit.
